Front Server – Job Description
A Front Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience by providing friendly, attentive, and efficient service to guests. This role ensures smooth front-of-house operations and maintains high standards of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests, present menus, and explain daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly while ensuring proper table setup.
- Check on guests throughout their meal and address any needs or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining area.
- Process bills, handle payments, and thank guests warmly.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
- Adhere to restaurant service standards, safety, and hygiene protocols.
