Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of Frank's Bar & Grill, located at the Four Points By Sheraton. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food service industry and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The Restaurant Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience while driving operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle cash management and financial transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure quality food preparation and presentation.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Assist in creating menus and promotions that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
- Experience in bartending or cooking is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Experience in interviewing potential candidates for various positions within the restaurant.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
