Responsibilities
- In consultation with Head of Maintenance, maintain grounds (mow lawns, trim hedges, prune/fell trees, remove snow from around buildings, minor repairs to driveway, etc.).
- In consultation with Head of Maintenance, maintain/repair school furniture.
- Re-fuel school vans as required.
- Provide suggestions to Head of Maintenance regarding grounds and vehicle-related matters.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies as needed.
- Maintain vehicle maintenance record using the log book located in each van.
- Substitute for Head of Maintenance in the absence of Head of Maintenance (sick days, holidays) as requested/required by the Head of Maintenance.
- Complete all WHMIS Training.
- The Maintenance Assistant reports directly to the Head of Maintenance.
- Perform other duties such as are prescribed by the Head of Maintenance and/or Head of School.

Pay: $18.15-$20.00 per hour
