We are seeking journeyman or apprentice Heavy equipment mechanics to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction and agricultural equipment. The successful candidate will have experience working with both ag and construction equipment. However we are willing to train the right individual.
Key responsibilities include:
- perform maintenance and repairs on ag and heavy equipment in the field and shop.
- perform diagnostics and repairs on engines, power trains, hydraulics, electrical and HVAC systems in field and shop conditions.
-use diagnostic laptops and service literature to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- complete detailed service records of all repairs
- maintain a clean work environment
- maintain tools and equipment such as service truck and specialty tooling
Qualifications:
- Red seal journeyman Heavy duty or Ag or equivalent experience. May accept apprentices with some work experience.
- strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- ability to work in tough conditions
- ability to read service literature and schematics
- valid class 5 drivers license
- ability to lift heavy objects (over 50 lbs)
- welding and fabrication skills considered an asset
- vast experience with rebuilding engines and transmissions considered an asset
Preferred experience:
- 4+ years of experience
- entry level applicants with strong work ethic and attention to detail
- experience in construction, forestry, agriculture and on road truck
Work conditions:
- mix of shop and field work
-field work is within 2 hours of home base
- overtime and weekend work available
- flexible schedule

Pay: $25.00-$54.99 per hour
