Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Cashier and Sales Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and assisting customers with product inquiries and demonstrations. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling and transactions
- Conduct product demos and provide technical information to customers
- Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is organized
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including balancing drawers at shift end
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, concerns, or complaints promptly
- Support team members in achieving sales goals through effective communication and teamwork
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities such as Spanish or other languages are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling
- Demonstrated ability to perform product demos and technical sales of electronics or related products
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and upselling techniques is advantageous
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends if required
Pay: $35.00-$36.50 per hour
