Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to children or individuals with disabilities in a home setting. Duties
- Provide daily care and assistance tailored to the needs of children or individuals with disabilities, including personal hygiene, medication management, and mobility support
- Develop and implement engaging activities that promote learning, development, and well-being
- Assist with educational activities, including classroom-like instruction or tutoring for children
- Monitor health and safety conditions within the home environment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized living space to promote comfort and safety
- Offer emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to foster independence and confidence
- Collaborate with family members or healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and report on progress or concerns
Requirements
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, including caregiving or classroom experience preferred
- Strong background in early childhood education or teaching is advantageous
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive nature with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities effectively
- Flexibility to live on-site as part of the caregiving arrangement
- Prior experience working with individuals with special needs is desirable
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and committed to providing high-quality care at all times
