Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Intermediate Customs Rater to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing customs clearances and classification processes, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and facilitating smooth cross-border shipments.
The successful candidate will have:
Knowledge of the current laws and regulations related to the customs release process
Perform clearances for courier shipment’s, truck, ocean and air as well as help with LVS
Knowledge of IID releases (Narcan, CFIA and Health Canada)
Arrange deliveries if needed
Request import documentation from clients and vendors including USCMA’S
Must be well organized with excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Billing and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum 3 year’s experience in customs brokerage
CCS designation required
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time, Hybrid 3 days in office
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Occasional public holidays as needed
Licence/Certification:
CCS(Certified Customs Specialist) (required)
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
