Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Customer Service professional to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks following company standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including food preparation stations
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts
- Uphold food safety standards and adhere to health regulations
Experience
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Experience with serving, food preparation, cashiering, and food handling is beneficial
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure quick service delivery
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
