The Wheatsheaf Liquor store is looking for a responsible and self-motivated individual to work as a Liquor Store Clerk.
Job Requirements:
- 19+ years of age
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Comfortable working alone or as a part of a team
- Obtain a valid Serving It Right certificate
- Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Job Responsibilities:
- Cashier duties such as processing payments, making change, and bagging items
- Assist with customer inquiries and locating product
- Retain product knowledge and assist customers by providing recommendations
- Perform required ID checks and prevent sale of liquor and tobacco to minors, patrons without valid ID, and intoxicated patrons
- Stock, rotate, and merchandise product
- Maintain store cleanliness and perform general cleaning duties such as dusting and sweeping
