Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary practice. Your passion for animals and excellent communication skills will be essential in creating a welcoming environment for both clients and their pets.
Duties
- Greet clients and their pets upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries with professionalism.
- Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Educate clients on pet health care, products, and services available at the clinic.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization within the reception area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a veterinary or medical office setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and record keeping.
- A genuine love for animals and a desire to help them receive the best care possible.
- Excellent verbal communication skill, pleasant phone manners.
