THE WOMB provides families with support, health and education from conscious creating, informed pregnancy, mindful birth and parenting in a non-judgmental, welcoming environment through self-awareness, support, education, and an integrated health care team. It is a center of excellence; a place where expert practitioners of health and research provide families with the best care possible and individuals come to receive tenderness, education, and love.
Other services provided: Naturopathy, osteopathy, chiropractic care, pelvic health physiotherapy, orthopedic physiotherapy, breastfeeding support, birth & postnatal doula support, counseling & coaching, registered massage therapy, fitness and yoga, workshops, classes & groups, gentle sleep consulting & holistic nutrition coaching.
OSTEOPATHY AT THE WOMB
The Osteopathic Manual Practitioners of THE WOMB educate, empower and inspire women to reach their full potential. Sessions include client education, osteopathic manual therapy treatment, lifestyle recommendations, body awareness exercises and authentic referrals to other WOMB practitioners, classes and workshops whenever it is deemed beneficial to the client.
Our approach supports women and families through trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, infancy, and beyond. Treatment may include a blend of craniosacral, osteoarticular, fluidic/lymphatics, visceral, musculoskeletal approaches, scar work, nervous system regulation, and whole-body integration, always individualized to the client’s needs and stage of life.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
● Has knowledge and passion for working with women through trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth, postpartum and beyond.
● Is committed to furthering education and training.
● Has exceptional communication skills and is drawn to a team atmosphere.
● Available to start with minimum 2 days a week including some evenings (until 8pm) and up to 5 days a week available
