Job Overview
We are a busy brunch and fast-paced restaurant seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista with some Bartending experience to join our team. Latte art is required for this position. (Hourly + Gratuities).
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, juice and smoothies according to established recipes and standards.
- Mix some simple classic and house cocktails (we will provide the recipes)
- Operate the espresso machine and other equipment efficiently while maintaining quality control.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas to meet health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in operating an espresso machine
- Food handling or food service is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain compliance with health regulations.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A valid Smart Server certification
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
