Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate customers on product offerings, and ensure a welcoming and professional environment. This role requires a strong understanding of cannabis products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage various retail tasks efficiently. The Budtender will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience while maintaining compliance with all regulations.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting appropriate products based on their needs
- Educate customers about different strains, consumption methods, and product effects
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and organize merchandising displays
- Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail space, including filing and record keeping
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including cashiering duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
- Support team leadership in maintaining store standards and achieving sales goals
Skills
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and multitask efficiently
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for inventory management
- Demonstrated customer service excellence with strong interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for transactions and inventory counts
- Upselling techniques to enhance sales performance
- Multilingual capabilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
