Overview
We are seeking an optometrist that wants to be happy at work and happy when on vacation/time off! We supply all the greatest in equipment, great staff and support. This would be for a FULL TIME POSITION! Remuneration depends on what you are comfortable with WRT seeing patients but easily can do over 1K per day if desired. We have all brand new equipment to work with! Staff would be present to support you.
Duties
- Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and diagnose eye conditions.
- Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids based on patient needs.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
- Educate patients on proper eye care and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technologies.
- Non dispensing, no headache optometry.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid provincial license to practice optometry.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care
- New grads welcome.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
