REQUIREMENTS:
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of carpentry work
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Build and install structures such as walls, floors, roofs, windows and doors
- Select and understand materials needed for various construction projects
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion
Skills:
- Briefed in blueprint reading to understand project requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for materials or equipment
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe usage in carpentry work
