Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Storage Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our self-storage facility. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, manage facility operations, and ensure the property remains clean, secure, and professionally maintained.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- On-call availability required outside regular business hours (compensated as needed)
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and by email
- Process rentals, move-ins, move-outs, reservations, and payments using SiteLink software
- Prepare daily deposits and complete opening/closing procedures
- Conduct facility walkthroughs and monitor security systems
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized property
- Perform light cleaning and minor maintenance duties
- Show storage units and sell packing/moving supplies
- Handle customer inquiries, contracts, and account follow-ups
- Manage inventory and assist with online auctions of abandoned units
- Hire and supervise part-time staff
- Support marketing initiatives and maintain company procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Criminal record check required
Experience in self-storage, retail, sales, or property management is considered an asset.
Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
