We are seeking a dedicated and caring Veterinary Technician to join our team. Only qualified candidates with 1–2 years of hands-on Veterinary Technician experience should apply.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgeries
- Prepare surgical packs, instruments, and treatment areas efficiently
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during procedures
- Perform blood draws, catheter placement, and laboratory sample collection
- Maintain accurate medical records and complete charting in veterinary software systems
- Handle controlled drug logs and maintain inventory organization
- Safely restrain and handle dogs and cats, including fearful or anxious patients
- Take radiographs (X-rays) and assist with diagnostic procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment, surgery, and kennel areas
- Communicate clearly with team members and assist with client education when needed
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Support daily clinic workflow including surgeries, appointments, emergencies, and patient care
What We’re Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program or equivalent experience in Canada
- Certification or licensure as a Veterinary Technician is preferred (Asset)
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a veterinary technician in Canada (Required)
- Compassionate, patient, and able to handle animals with care and confidence
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinic environment and multitask effectively
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work Saturdays is required

Pay: $26.00-$31.70 per hour
