The Warehouse Support team is responsible for the accurate handling, organization, and movement of materials within the warehouse. This role includes loading and unloading products, preparing orders for delivery, and assisting with inventory management.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Warehouse Support team member, you’ll help keep our warehouse running smoothly by preparing materials, supporting technicians, and keeping things organized and safe. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reading material slips and pulling the correct products for jobs or customer orders
- Loading, unloading, staging, and organizing materials for deliveries and installations
- Receiving and checking incoming products for accuracy and damage, and updating ServiceBox
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Handling materials safely, including lifting and moving products
- Operating warehouse equipment (such as a forklift) if trained and certified
- Assisting with small deliveries when needed and following safe driving practices
- Supporting technicians on site as required (material handling, stacking door sections, basic troubleshooting support)
- Preparing parts for walk-in customers
- Helping with other warehouse tasks as assigned, including occasional support to the Metal Fabrication team
This role is important in helping ensure materials are ready on time, inventory is well managed, and technicians and projects are set up for success.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Clean driving record: a DZ license is considered a strong asset
- Prior forklift experience is a strong asset; certification preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials with physical dexterity up to 50lbs
- Self-motivated and dependable when working independently or after hours
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and reliable with a positive, safety-first attitude
