Overview
We are a manufacturing company seeking skilled installers to handle the installation of cast stone fireplace mantels. This role involves on-site work, coordination with clients and project teams, and ensuring installations meet safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install cast stone fireplace mantels
- Install indoor and outdoor fireplace mantels, including gas and wood-burning units
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and installation guidelines
- Prepare job sites, including measuring, leveling, and surface prep
- Operate tools and equipment such as lifts, drills, and cutting tools
- Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and finishing of installed products
- Follow all safety procedures and building codes
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients on-site
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience (5 years) in concrete installation, masonry, or similar trades
- Experience installing fireplace mantels or similar structural features is strongly preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and plans
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to job sites within the region
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or training in masonry, construction, or fireplace installation
- Experience with gas line connections (where applicable and licensed)
- Familiarity with precast concrete products
- Forklift or equipment operation experience

Compensation
$250 - $500 / day
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
