Poplar Ridge Custom Cabinets is a millwork shop in Barrhead, AB, specializing in custom cabinetry. We are a solid team known for our passion, integrity, and commitment to excellence. We are seeking a motivated cabinet maker who is inspired to work hard and contribute to our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, assembling, and occasionally installing high-quality custom cabinetry for residential and commercial projects. Experience in the cabinetry industry is preferred but not required. Must be capable of lifting or moving heavier boxes regularly. Skills preferred include a positive attitude, the ability to read and interpret cabinetry drawings, a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and the ability to understand instructions. Experience operating equipment like table saws, edge banders, CNC routers, jointers, planers, and sanders is an asset. Business hours are 7:00 – 4:30 Monday through Thursday and 7:00 – 3:00 on Fridays.

Responsibilities
- Utilize hand and power tools to construct cabinetry and countertops with precision.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate measurements and designs.
- Collaborate with team members to discuss project specifications and timelines.
- Perform restoration and repair work as needed, maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while handling materials and equipment.
