Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and rotated appropriately
- Support the team during busy hours by assisting with additional food service tasks as needed
- Adhere to health regulations and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in a restaurant setting
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if necessary
- Basic knowledge of the food industry and restaurant operations is a plus
