Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Production / Operations Worker to join our client's production team. Successful candidates will initially work in food production and will gradually take on additional operational responsibilities, including basic software and inventory management tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food production, packaging, and processing activities
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas
- Monitor production processes and report any issues
- Perform data entry and operational software-related tasks
- Assist with inventory tracking and production documentation
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn operational software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (SIN required)
Schedule
- Flexible schedule required
- Monday to Sunday availability
- Scheduled for any 5 days per week
- Full-time availability is mandatory
Pay: $17.60 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
