We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Automotive Service Technician Apprentice Level 2,3,4. This role offers an opportunity to further develop your technical expertise while contributing to a dynamic team environment. As an apprentice, you will assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicle systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Diagnostics & Repairs:
Assist in diagnosing and repairing automotive systems. Utilize computerized diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and verify repairs.
- Routine Maintenance:
Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements, ensuring vehicles operate efficiently and safely.
- Component Replacement & Assembly:
Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components as needed, replacing worn or damaged parts with precision and attention to detail.
- Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Continuous Learning:
Participate in ongoing training sessions and workshops to stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
1-2 years of experience in an automotive repair setting, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and repair procedures.
- Licensing:
A valid driver's license is required. Possession of an automotive service technician certificate or enrollment in an apprenticeship program is required
- Skills:
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair manuals.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy components as needed.
