Job Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic services to enhance clients’ health and well-being through skilled massage therapy.
- This role requires a professional with strong communication skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, utilizing various techniques to promote relaxation, relieve pain and address various conditions
- Conduct thorough client assessments to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports and trigger point massage, in a professional and compassionate manner
- Maintain accurate and detailed treatment records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness strategies.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment at all times.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care when necessary.
- Uphold all licensing, certification, and professional standards required by CMTO
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist and in good standing position.
- Good communication, taking informed consent appropriately
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to therapeutic practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening and empathetic communication, to build trust and rapport with clients.

- Previous clinical experience is preferred, including additional trainings/certifications in the following: TMJ, Lymphatic Drainage, Hot Stone Therapy, Fascial Stretch, Cupping, Dry Needling/Acupuncture, IASTM/Graston, ART.
- Competitive compensation split offered, and will be negotiated based on experience and additional skill-sets

- Flexible schedule – work/life balance – the ideal candidate with have the flexibility to craft their own schedule – days and/or afternoons throughout the week, with requirement for either Saturday or Sunday shifts
- The ideal candidate will start with two days/evenings a week with the opportunity to quickly expand to more.
- Hydraulic tables and spacious fully equipped treatment rooms; linens and oils are provided

Rate- per hour:
55-60 to 70% range for the one hour rate plus HST based on experience and skills.
