Position Overview
Our client is currently seeking an experienced individual to join their Accounting and Assurance team as a Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading audit, review, and compilation engagements for mid-sized and privately held businesses, including corporate and personal tax review and advising on complex accounting matters. You will manage client engagements across multiple industries, support business development, and lead and mentor team members through coaching, file review, and performance management.

Responsibilities
- You will review financial statements prepared by other team members
- You will ensure Canadian accounting and assurance standards are met on all engagements
- You will provide oversight and guidance on the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
- You will effectively manage all assigned client relationships
- You will take an active role in leading our accounting & assurance team and will be accountable for the success of the team
Requirements
- A CPA designation with over five (5) years of public practice experience
- Strong auditing background
- A high measure of interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively within the firm and with clients
- An in-depth knowledge and execution of Canadian reporting standards
- The ability to understand accountability and take ownership of your work
Experience & Certifications
- CPA Designation (required)

Pay: $90,000.00-$160,000.00 per year
