Job Overview
Drivon is a city commerce platform built for Toronto, connecting people with local food, services, events, creators. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an Operation Manager to help oversee and optimize the day-to-day operation of the platform.
In this role, you will work closely with the Managing Director and play a key part in scaling the business. This is a hands-on position for someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable taking ownership. You will be responsible for managing daily operations, improving workflows, and building systems and processes that support the company's growth and efficiency.
Duties
- Managing merchant onboarding, driver coordination, and customer escalations end to end
- Building and maintaining the internal processes, SOPs, and workflows that the team runs on
- Tracking weekly KPIs including order completion, response times, and platform health, then reporting directly to the Managing Director with clear insights and action plans
- Handling vendor and partner relationships
- Coordinating hiring logistics including scheduling, onboarding, and documentation
- Identifying operational gaps before they become problems and fixing them
- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to achieve performance goals
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements
Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, logistics, coordination, or a similar role
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to represent Drivon professionally across partners, vendors, and internal teams
- Proficiency with workplace and collaboration tools such as Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, or similar platforms
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and build processes in evolving environments
- Comfortable working in high-growth environments where systems and workflows are continuously being developed
- Previous experience in delivery, marketplace, logistics, technology, or startup environments is considered a strong asset
