Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our Retirement team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of Residents suites, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and Resident satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning, hospitality, or custodial services and possess a strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a welcoming environment for our Residents, while developing your skills in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service Residents Suites according to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all areas are sanitized and maintained in a hygienic condition
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Restock amenities such as towels, and linens
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Maintain confidentiality and respect Resident privacy at all times
- Assist with additional cleaning tasks in public areas or other designated spaces as required
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or custodial services is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
- Retirement experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with Residents and team members
Pay: From $18.61 per hour
