Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to deliver goods efficiently across various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent driving skills to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods over long or short distances
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement of items
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation as required
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary to load or unload cargo safely
Skills
- Proven experience in driving heavy trucks or commercial vehicles
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for safe driving
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for loading or unloading cargo
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Ability to operate large vehicles responsibly and efficiently under various conditions

Pay: $27.00-$43.32 per hour
