At Smile Elements Orthodontics, we take pride in our minimally invasive clear aligners. Our approach of fabricating our own in-house clear aligners (Invisalign-like) with the most cutting-edge technology sets us uniquely apart as an orthodontic office.
The Junior Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tasks to fabricate clear aligners. These include but are not limited to:
1.3D Printing Orthodontic Models
2. Post-processing Printed Models
3. Thermoforming Clear Aligners
4. Laser Trimming Clear Aligners
5. Packaging Clear Aligners
6. Miscellaneous Tasks
This position will also be responsible for maintaining the laboratory inventory and supplies and performing general lab duties. The Laboratory Technician is expected to work independently with minimal supervision and to follow all established safety practices. The Laboratory Technician will also be expected to assist in the development of new procedures and assist in the maintenance of a clean laboratory environment. On the job training will be provided for all tasks.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required, preference will be given to holders of Lab Assistant certificate
