AutoCAD Drafter – Commercial Windows & Doors
Location: Mississauga, ON
We’re looking for an experienced AutoCAD Drafter to join our client, specializing in commercial aluminum windows, doors, storefront, and curtain wall systems.
Rate of Pay & Schedule:
- $35.00 per hour
- Overtime paid after - 44 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Day shift with a consistent start time between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. (flexible, to suit the successful candidate)
- Full-time, long-term opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed shop and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD.
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Work closely with estimating and production to ensure accurate, buildable drawings.
- Produce installation details, sections, elevations, and hardware schedules.
- Coordinate revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience in the commercial glazing industry.
- Experience with aluminum window, door, storefront, and curtain wall systems.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and produce accurate shop drawings.
- Knowledge of systems such as Kawneer, Alumicor, Hydro, or similar is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
