Customer Service Specialist / Account Manager – Food Industry

Schedule: Fully onsite, 5 days per week (remote work not available)

Position Summary
Reporting to the Accounts & Customer Relations Director, the Customer Service Specialist / Account Manager is responsible for managing customer relationships, coordinating orders from request through delivery, and supporting inside sales and account growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the food industry and logistics is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Enter and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain customer accounts and provide timely order updates both internally and externally
- Prepare quotations and provide product information to clients
- Coordinate logistics activities and follow up on shipments and deliveries
- Support inside sales activities, account management, and upselling opportunities
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum DEC education with at least 5–10 years of experience in customer service, account management, project management, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English is required, as the majority of our clients are located in the United States
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage customer accounts independently and proactively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Experience using ERP systems; SAP Business One is considered an asset
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
