Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding expertise along with mechanical knowledge and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including ductwork, structural components, and custom fabrications, utilizing a variety of welding techniques and tools. Candidates should be committed to safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Job Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in the welding trade is required.
- Certification: CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) or equivalent international certification is an asset.
- Language: Basic English communication skills.

- Operate manual or semi-automatic SMAW (Stick) welding equipment to fuse metal segments.
- Perform high-quality welds in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).
- Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
- Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.
