Job Summary
Rockland Pharmacy (valleyhealth.ca) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team full time. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and efficient administration of medications.
Duties
For this position, you will be responsible for the technical check of various compliance packs – PACMED and DISPILL. Occasionally, prescription data entry and other registered pharmacy technician duties, such as injections, may be required by the pharmacy.
Experience
- Prior pharmacy experience is mandatory.
- Familiarity with medication administration processes and pharmacy operations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accuracy in medication dispensing.
- Teamwork and positive attitude are requirements to ensure smooth operations of the pharmacy
- Accurate, efficient working skills are critical to meet deadlines
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Rockland Pharmacy is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm. The pharmacy is closed on weekends and statutory holidays.
