Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers needing vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring a seamless experience from initial consultation to service completion. This role combines excellent customer service skills with automotive knowledge to facilitate effective communication between clients and our service technicians.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen to their vehicle concerns to accurately assess service needs
- Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, providing recommendations based on mechanical knowledge and dealership standards
- Prepare detailed work orders and communicate customer requests effectively to technicians
- Upsell additional services or repairs that benefit the customer while meeting dealership sales goals
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing the flow of vehicles through the service department
Requirements
- Previous dealership experience or mechanic experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Proven sales ability, including upselling services and repairs effectively
- Experience with cash handling and basic administrative tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- Knowledge of CDK & CDK Service is desirable

Pay: $38,506.51-$100,000.00 per year
