Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled Carpenter/Cladding Installers to join our team of valued employees. As a Cladding Installer, you will work on construction sites across Atlantic Canada, installing wall assemblies, metal cladding systems, and related components. You may work indoors or outdoors, either independently or in collaboration with other construction professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints to determine how and where to fabricate, assemble, and install cladding products.
- Measure and mark materials for accurate installation.
- Install wall assemblies, flashings, and metal components using appropriate fasteners.
- Use hand and power tools to finish surfaces and complete installations.
- Select appropriate materials per project specifications.
- Fasten joints and metal components with mechanical fasteners.
- Prioritize workplace safety protocols at all times.
- Work at heights and lift heavy materials as required.
Qualifications:
- Secondary school diploma (minimum).
- At least 2 years of related work experience, including cladding installation experience.
- Ability to work at considerable heights and lift heavy materials and equipment.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Valid driver's licence (asset).
- Willingness to travel to job sites across Atlantic Canada.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour ($47,840 - $62,400 annually)
