Responsibilities
- Build custom cabinetry and architectural millwork from detailed shop drawings
- Work with veneers, laminates, solid wood, sheet goods, and architectural hardware
- Safely operate woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work to tight tolerances while meeting quality and production expectations
- Collaborate with teammates and take direction from the Shop Foreperson to deliver projects on schedule
What We're Looking For
- Several years of experience in a professional architectural millwork or cabinet shop
- Red Seal Cabinetmaker/Joiner certification is strongly preferred
- Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Excellent knowledge of woodworking machinery, joinery, and assembly techniques
- Experience working to AWMAC/NAAWS quality standards
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- A positive, solutions-focused attitude and pride in producing exceptional work
Location
Our 18,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility is located on Norland Avenue in Burnaby, BC. Applicants must be able to reliably commute or be prepared to relocate before starting work.
