Job Title: CNC Machinists
Job Location: Spruce Grove, AB
Schedule: Full-time, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Safety Sensitive: Criminal Background Check, Drug & Alcohol Testing and Mask Fit Test Required
Our client is seeking CNC Machinists to support machining operations through CNC programming, process development, and tooling selection, ensuring accurate, efficient, and high-quality machining outputs.
What's the Job?
- Develop efficient CNC programs and detailed documentation to support machining operations.
- Select appropriate tooling, inserts, and fixturing to optimize machining processes.
- Interpret engineered drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
- Work with Mazak and HAAS controls to program and operate CNC equipment.
- Utilize CAM software such as Fusion 360, Edgecam, and Creo for program creation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Ensure machining processes are accurate, efficient, and continuously improving.
- Maintain strong attention to detail while working in a self-directed environment.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC programming experience.
- Hands-on experience programming Mazak and HAAS machines.
- Proficiency with CAM platforms such as Fusion 360, Edgecam, and Creo.
- Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably with complex, multi-axis CNC machinery.
- Strong understanding of cutting tools, inserts, and fixturing best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and GD&T.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
- Must successfully complete drug and fit testing, as well as a Criminal Record Check.
