Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our construction projects. The ideal candidate will manage on-site activities, coordinate with teams, ensure safety compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to ensure high-quality construction outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and labor teams to maintain productivity and quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project tracking and reporting
- Monitor quality control processes to ensure work meets safety regulations and project specifications
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and assist with construction estimating as needed
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections to maintain a secure work environment
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and team members to resolve issues promptly
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for project stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in commercial or residential construction projects
- Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other relevant tools
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating, and budgeting principles
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of quality control standards and safety regulations in the construction industry
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse project stakeholders
- Relevant certifications or licenses in construction management or related fields are preferred but not mandatory
