Budds' Collision Services Ltd. is looking for progressive, forward thinking individuals interested in a career within the automotive industry. The applicant must have a positive personality, an interest in vehicles and possess strong organizational skills. We are currently looking for an Automobile Prepper/painter to join our team.
Duties
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning surfaces to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats using spray guns and other power tools
- Perform minor body repairs and touch-ups as needed to ensure smooth surfaces before painting
- Assist with vehicle disassembly and reassembly during the prep process
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently
- Conduct quality checks on painted surfaces to ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Assist with heavy lifting of vehicles or parts when necessary, following proper safety procedure
