Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes with professionalism and care
- Schedule appointments accurately using electronic medical records systems such as Oscar
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages
- Maintain organized patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Assist with administrative duties including filing, faxing, scanning, and data entry
- Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts and coordinating appointment flow
Experience
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or medical office administrator is highly preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Oscar is important
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately communicate with patients and staff
- Proven office experience in a fast-paced environment, managing multi-line phone systems effectively
- Experience working in a medical office setting is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
