Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and groups, helping clients navigate emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. We are particularly seeking a Psychotherapist trained in EMDR.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans
- Provide individual therapy with option to provide family or couples therapy.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to ensure effective outcomes
- Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of all client interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, other psychotherapist and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care
- Stay current with advancements in mental health treatment through ongoing professional development
Skills
- Proven experience as a Psychotherapist
- Strong understanding of psychological theories, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques
- Excellent communication and active listening skills to build trust and rapport with clients
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines at all times
- Compassionate approach with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Relevant licensure or certification required
- Trained in EMDR
- French speaking is considered an asset

This is an independent contractor position. We offer a percentage split to our independent contractors.
Preference is given to those willing to provide on-site services, with the option of virtual services as clients require.
This position is ideal for therapists committed to providing empathetic care and fostering positive mental health outcomes.
Pay: $93.50-$102.00 per hour
