Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Project Foreman Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and integration of electrical systems within metal-clad electrical buildings. You will manage crews, coordinate schedules, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Duties:
- Installation of electrical boxes, interior/exterior lights, panels, fire systems, and other components as required.
- Nice to have experience in installing and bending rigid metal conduit.
- Pulling of TECK cable
- Terminations in MCC'S PLC'S HVAC, distribution, UPS system
- Grounding and bonding of cable tray and electrical equipment.
- Installation of large electrical equipment and transformers
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution
- Supervise and lead electrical crews on-site, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Required to have set of own hand tools and power drill
Qualifications:
- Preferably Trades certification or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in mechanical and electrical integration for metal-clad electrical buildings.
- Previous experience in installing and bending rigid metal conduit.
- Experience with cable tray installation and grounding.
- Strong ability to pull cables and terminate wires accurately.
- Knowledge of handling and installing large electrical equipment and transformers.
- Proficiency in working with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work space and following all safety protocols.
