Bilingual Senior Account Manager, Commercial Insurance

Responsibilities:
- Provide a consultative client experience to support clients in making informed decisions regarding their professional insurance needs.
- Build and maintain client relationships by understanding their unique requirements and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell insurance products.
- Refer clients to internal teams including Personal Insurance, Commercial Enterprise, and Life and Benefits, when appropriate.
- Manage a high volume of renewals by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including insurance companies, account executives, assistant account managers, and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with an Assistant Account Manager on policy administration tasks, including applications, renewals, endorsement changes, cancellations, re-marketing activities, and claims application initiation.
- Maintain accurate client records and interactions within the Broker Management System and other company portals.
- Support clients through multiple communication channels in a fast-paced environment.
- Act as a liaison between clients and insurance companies regarding underwriting concerns and provide underwriting guidance.
- Support financial operations by assisting with invoicing, payment collection, and account reconciliation activities.
What you will need to succeed:
- RIBO license required (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario certification).
- Bilingual in English and French to support clients, stakeholders, and business activities in both languages, including quarterly travel to Québec.
- 5-7 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, Underwriting, or related roles within an insurance brokerage or insurance company.
- Exposure to Underwriting, Commercial Insurance, including Professional Liability Insurance and Commercial General Liability Insurance, or Group Insurance is considered a strong asset.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple demands effectively.
- Client-centric mindset with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
- Positive, articulate, engaging, empathetic, and approachable communication style.
