Registered Kinesiologist- Lowcom
Location: Surrey, BC (Cloverdale and South Surrey)
Think Physio & Wellness is seeking a Registered Kinesiologist to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. This position involves working closely with physiotherapists to provide exercise-based rehabilitation for patients with musculoskeletal injuries and other rehabilitation needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exercise programs prescribed by the supervising physiotherapist.
- Supervise patients during rehabilitation sessions and ensure exercises are performed safely and effectively.
- Instruct patients on home exercise programs.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising physiotherapist.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Assist with functional assessments and outcome measures as directed.
- Work collaboratively with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow clinic policies and professional practice standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics.
- Current registration and good standing with the BC Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK).
- Professional liability insurance.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Experience with orthopedic rehabilitation, ICBC, or WorkSafeBC patients is an asset.
