Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to partner with our General Manager and help lead our team in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence in a fast-paced food service environment. Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
- Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Implement effective team management strategies to foster a positive work environment.
- Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
- Maintain inventory control and order supplies as needed.
- Develop and execute operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Monitor food handling practices to comply with food safety regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or related field.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests effectively.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing.
- Experience in supervising staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling and inventory management.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent decision-making capabilities.
- Background in the food industry, including kitchen experience, food handling, serving, and barista experience is preferred.
