Overview
We are recruiting Apprentice Carpenters to support ongoing industrial projects in
Saskatchewan. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working
alongside experienced tradespeople in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist with layout, measurement, and basic interpretation of drawings
- Support the construction, installation, and repair of structural components using various materials
- Participate in both rough and finishing carpentry tasks
- Help ensure work meets required specifications, including alignment and accuracy
- Operate hand tools and assist with power tools under supervision
- Contribute to material preparation and general site duties
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and site requirements
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Carpenter Apprentice or willingness to enroll in an apprenticeship program
- Previous construction or carpentry experience is an asset
- Basic understanding of drawings and measurements is an asset
- Strong willingness to learn and develop trade skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Must be fit for duty
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
