Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and management of inventory within our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with warehouse management systems, and the ability to operate various types of equipment including forklifts and clamp trucks. Duties
- Operate forklift, clamp truck, and order picker equipment safely and efficiently to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping processes to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and ensure data accuracy.
- Perform heavy lifting of goods and materials as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist in organizing warehouse space for optimal storage and accessibility of products.
- Support inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklift, order picker, clamp truck, and other warehouse equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
- Prior experience with order picking processes is advantageous. Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
