The successful candidates will possess WHMIS certification, and Current First and CPR training. This position requires some related experience in security, public relations, customer service, and working with basic hand operated tools (hammer, drill, shovel, and ladder). Working knowledge of the safe usage of various gymnasium equipment is preferred. Candidates must be mature individuals who possess a positive work attitude and excellent customer service skills. The ability to make practical, fair, and objective decisions pertaining to customer service in order to find solutions to problems is essential. The Facility Attendant’s decisions impact customer satisfaction, safety, return business, and ensures the care and longevity of the facilities are maintained.
This position is within the scope of C.U.P.E. Local 30, and as such, you will be required to adhere to the articles contained within the Collective Agreement.
Hours of Work: Weekday morning, evening, and weekend shifts
The number of hours of work per week may vary based on operational needs and cannot be forecasted.
