We are an emerging Lagree fitness studio preparing for launch and looking for a detail-oriented, reliable Bookkeeper & Studio Administrator to support our financial operations and client communications.
This role will begin as a part-time contract position with limited transactions during the pre-opening phase, and will grow in scope and hours as the studio becomes operational.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process and track invoices, expenses, and payments
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and assist with GST filings
- Support financial reporting and provide basic insights as needed
Administrative & Client Support
- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist clients with inquiries, including handling sensitive information such as credit card details securely
- Maintain organized digital records and documentation
General Operations
- Work independently to manage priorities and deadlines
- Support the business owner with ad hoc administrative and financial tasks
- Attend in-office sessions a few times per week (training and operational needs)
Qualifications
- Proven experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals (AP/AR, reconciliations, reporting)
- Experience with GST filings
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Professional communication skills and client-facing experience
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to the office multiple times per week
Role Details
- Contract position, paid hourly

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
