About the Role
As a Cabinet Finisher, you will play a key role in delivering the high-quality craftsmanship CW Kitchens is known for. This position is responsible for preparing, staining, and finishing cabinetry to precise specifications. The successful candidate will bring strong technical finishing expertise, a keen eye for colour matching, and the ability to maintain consistency across complex projects.
Working closely with cabinetmakers, designers, and production leadership, you will ensure all finished products meet our quality standards, timelines, and customer expectations. This role requires a skilled finisher who takes pride in their craftsmanship and can contribute to process improvements, and quality control.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures related to finishing materials and equipment
- Prepare cabinetry surfaces for finishing, including sanding, cleaning, and inspection
- Apply stains, paints, lacquers, and specialty finishes to cabinetry
- Ensure stain colours and finishes are accurate, consistent, and aligned with design specifications
- Perform quality inspections throughout the finishing process to ensure high standards are maintained
- Operate and maintain finishing equipment and ensure the finishing area remains clean, organized, and safe
- Collaborate with cabinetmakers, designers, and production staff to ensure project specifications and timelines are met
- Troubleshoot finishing issues such as colour inconsistencies, surface defects, or application problems
- Support process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and finishing techniques
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional finishing experience in cabinetry, furniture, or a similar manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of stains, lacquers, sealers, and finishing systems
- Experience operating spray equipment and pump systems
- Excellent colour matching and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain consistent finishing quality across multiple components and projects
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality standards
- Strong problem-solving skills related to finishing processes and materials
- Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality craftsmanship
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
